A Fun Day at the Friendship Garden 🌱

We had another wonderful day at the Friendship Garden, making the most of the lovely weather and all the hard work that has gone into growing our vegetables and fruit.
Everyone got involved with the harvest, picking fresh beans, juicy berries, and digging up delicious potatoes. It was exciting to see how much our garden has produced, and there were lots of smiles as we filled our baskets with fresh, home-grown food.
As well as harvesting, we spent time weeding the garden and giving everything a good tidy-up. We also washed paths, pots, and garden areas to make sure everything was looking its very best. We’re getting ready for the National in Bloom judges to visit and judge our garden, so everyone worked together to make it look clean, colourful, and welcoming. We are very proud of what we have achieved as a team.
The best part of the day was enjoying the fruits of our labour. We used some of the fresh produce we had picked to make our tea, and it tasted even better knowing it had come straight from our own garden. Sharing a meal together made the day feel extra special and reminded us how rewarding gardening can be.
